On Nov 13, 2017 MSGF Class of 2018 started their first module on HKUST campus in Hong Kong. Composed of 45 students, this 11th intake of the program comes from 14 work locations with 18 citizenships. With a majority working in the finance sector, one third of the class comes from Hong Kong, one third from China and Asian countries, and the rest from US as well as Brazil, South Africa, Seychelles, UAE and Venezuela.
Their intensive one-year study kicked off with Global Macro and Asian Markets by Professor Tom Pugel, and Foundations of Corporate Finance by Professor Kasper Nielsen. Students and guests celebrated a new venture with an opening reception and dinner, and welcome remarks from the Academic Directors.
