MS in Global Finance Professor and Academic Director Menachem Brenner will be leading this seminar; "Are Derivatives "Weapons of Mass Destruction"?
Derivatives are the Ultimate Financial Innovation: they are tools to manage risk, and they provide forward-looking information. Yet, in financial 'crashes' and personal financial losses, they have been singled out as the main culprit. In the words of Warren Buffet, are derivatives equivalent to financial weapons of mass destruction?
Please join us for this session with Professor Brenner as we explore this question surrounding the role of derivatives in the financial landscape.
