MSGF Class of 2020 Kick off

We are delighted to announce the MSGF Class of 2020 has just started. 


The one-year program will be a tough and exciting year for forty some finance professional who are committed and challenge-seeking. Coming from 15 locations, they will be attending 7 modules of classes at three different financial centers learning the most updated financial knowledge from world-class faculties at two prestigious universities around the Pacific Ocean. 


Professor Jialin Yu, Academic Director of MSGF Program (HKUST), says: ‘We begin our class next to the Magic Road, we hope you will have a Magic journey with MSGF‘.


Indeed, the MSGF group has begun their Magic journey since they decided to join the HKUST-NYU Stern program when clicking the ‘submit’ button on the application form. We may all know people working in field are busy, we much appreciate these candidates keep their faith pursuing more, on top of their tough schedule. 


At this kick-off module, the senior executives start with Global Macro & Asian Markets, by Professor Thomas Pugel (NYU Stern), and Foundations of Corporate Finance, by Professor Kasper Nielsen (HKUST) for the one year MS program. 


Global Macro & Asian Markets provides financial decision-makers with concepts, relationships, and frameworks to better understand crucial aspects of the global macro economy and the interplay among national economies and financial markets. Foundations of Corporate Finance provides framework for understanding the impact of financing and investment decisions made by firms/managers on company value.


Welcome to the MSGF community. Nothing better than plan ahead. Since 10 Nov, the MSGF new cohort has started forming their project group towards the final presentation. They all showing positive attitude. Let’s rock!! Welcome to the class.
