About Ace Casinos

We're an independent US-focused publisher that reviews real-money online casinos, sweepstakes platforms, and crypto-friendly gambling brands. Editorial independence is non-negotiable — operators cannot pay for a higher ranking, and we run every brand through the same 100-point rubric.

Our mission

The US online casino market is fragmented — a mix of state-regulated operators, offshore brands, sweepstakes platforms, and tribal gaming. The information online is often outdated, paid-for, or written by people who've never deposited a real dollar at the casinos they cover. Ace Casinos exists to fix that.

We're built around four principles:

  1. Test before we publish. Every casino in our rankings has been funded by a member of our editorial team with their own money. We document deposits, gameplay sessions, bonus rollover progress, and full cashout cycles before rating an operator.
  2. Independence by structure. Affiliate revenue is what pays our editors and our hosting bill. We disclose every affiliate link. But we structure compensation so that no editor's pay is tied to any specific brand's performance.
  3. Responsible gambling first. We are members of the National Council on Problem Gambling. Every page links to responsible-gambling resources and we will not publish content aimed at users who self-identify as problem gamblers.
  4. Update or remove. If a brand's payout speeds slow, customer support breaks, or licensing changes, we re-rank or de-rank within 30 days. Stale rankings hurt readers.

Worked example — how Ignition scored 49 of 50 from us in 2026

Ignition's published score is 4.9/5 stars on our site (the consumer-friendly format). Behind that is our raw 100-point rubric. Here's the breakdown for transparency:

  • Bonus value (18/20) — 300% up to $3,000 with 25× rollover is among the most competitive in the offshore market. Lost 2 points for slots-only weighting (live dealer doesn't contribute).
  • Banking (19/20) — Crypto cashouts measured in under 24 hours across 6 test withdrawals. Lost 1 point for card-deposit decline rate above 15% (a US-bank-side issue, not Ignition's, but it affects users).
  • Games (18/20) — RTG-heavy library is great but lacks NetEnt or Pragmatic titles US-regulated sites enjoy. 350+ titles with solid jackpot suite.
  • Licensing & safety (14/15) — Kahnawake Gaming Commission, 10 years operating, no unresolved complaints in our last two audit windows.
  • Mobile UX (9/10) — LCP averaged 2.1s on our test phones. Solid.
  • Customer support (9/10) — Live chat answered in under 90 seconds across 8 test interactions.
  • Responsible gambling (4/5) — Deposit limits available, self-exclusion works, but the help-page link is buried deeper than we'd like.

Raw score: 91/100, which converts to 4.9/5 on our 5-star display scale.

How we make money

Ace Casinos is funded entirely by affiliate revenue. When a reader clicks a tracking link on our site and signs up at an online casino, we may receive a one-time signup commission or an ongoing percentage of the operator's net revenue from that referred user. We disclose this on every page.

Compensation does not influence rankings. Three points on how we keep that promise:

  • We rank brands first, then check which we have a commercial relationship with. Brands without an affiliate link still get reviewed — they just won't have a "Claim Bonus" CTA.
  • Editor compensation is fixed, not commission-based per brand.
  • If a brand offers us a higher commission for a higher position, we decline. Our partnership team and editorial team are walled off.

Our editorial standards

We publish in line with the following standards:

  • Fact-checking. Every claim about licensing, payout windows, bonus terms, and legal status is cross-referenced with at least one primary source (operator T&Cs, state gaming control board, IRS publication).
  • Bylined authorship. Every article has a named author and, where the topic is high-stakes (legality, tax, responsible gambling), a named expert reviewer.
  • Last-updated transparency. Every page carries a visible "last updated" date and a changelog accordion at the bottom showing the last three updates.
  • Affiliate disclosure. The disclosure bar at the top of every page makes the affiliate relationship explicit.
  • Corrections policy. If we get something wrong, we publish a correction note inline (not silently editing) and date it. Reader corrections welcome at the contact page.

Responsible gambling — our position

We are members of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG). We publish full responsible-gambling resources including 1-800-GAMBLER, state hotlines, self-exclusion guides, deposit-limit walkthroughs, and a self-assessment questionnaire. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, please reach out for help.

We do not market to:

  • Anyone under 21
  • Users who have self-excluded from any operator
  • Users searching for problem-gambling help
