How I Used My Global Finance Masters To Gain Transferable Skills And Elevate My Career

For many professionals, pursuing a master in finance degree is a strategic move to gain specialized knowledge and transferable skills enabling them to transition their career to the next level.

This was the case for Catherine Yaying Lin (Class of 2019) who harnessed the global network and transferable skillset she gained in the MSGF program to elevate her knowledge and enhance her career.

Global Finance Masters Grads Are Launching Diverse Careers From Healthcare To Hollywood

Considering the intensity and highly specialist nature of a Master's in Finance, it’s understandable that the finance industry is the typical draw for graduates. However, the transferable skills you gain can prepare you for careers across various industries. 

 

This was the case for Michelle Tang (Class of 2018) and Steve Demmler (Class of 2019), who, after completing their studies, found themselves on diverse career paths.
