HKUST Professor Awarded the Jerry S. Cohen Memorial Fund Writing Award

We are thrilled to announce that a paper co-authored by Assistant Professor Alminas ZALDOKAS at the Department of Finance, has received the 18th annual Jerry S. Cohen Memorial Fund Writing Award. Entitled The Effects of Global Leniency Programs on Margins and Mergers, the paper reflects concerns related to the principles of economic justice and was awarded as the best antitrust writing.

The award honors the late Jerry S. COHEN, a remarkable lawyer and antitrust writer, who dedicated his work to raise awareness on the necessity of human and social impact on societies, organizations, and individuals to maintain a humane and just society.

Congratulations to Professor Zaldokas and his co-authors!
