As generative AI continues to gain traction across a wide range of industries, there is growing interest in understanding its potential impact on careers and the workforce. This seminar will explore the ways in which generative AI is transforming the nature of work, from automating routine tasks to augmenting human creativity and decision-making. We will discuss the potential benefits and challenges of this transformation, and the new opportunities that are emerging for workers who can harness the power of generative AI.


We will examine the implications of this technology for different industries and job functions and explore the skills and capabilities that will be most in demand in the age of generative AI. By the end of the seminar, attendees will understand the opportunities and challenges associated with generative AI. For the final part, we will also discuss personal development strategies that financial practitioners could use to succeed in this rapidly evolving landscape of working with AI.



Speaker:

Kevin Pereira is currently a Managing Director at Blu Artificial Intelligence, a consulting firm that specializes in Artificial Intelligence. He started his career in Private Banking with Citi in New York after which he joined Bank of New York Mellon’s Asset Management business in Hong Kong. There he helped to start a new group that specialized in products tailored to High Net Worth Individuals. After obtaining his MBA, Kevin worked at a technology startup in Myanmar that was building internet infrastructure which included fiber optic, cell towers and data centers before joining his current role.


Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Finance, Management and Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also has an MBA from INSEAD.
